One thing I remember from my last visit to India was a wave of heat the moment I stepped out of the airport, but that wasn't the case this time. It was actually quite pleasant.

Our friend arrived with his friend to pick the two of us and 6 bags of luggage in a Suzuki Swift! For those who don't know what a swift is, imagine a Renault Megane, but smaller. But one thing you learn in India is 'impossible is nothing' - Lo and behold we managed it and that too after only one bag went in the boot.
I had to share the front passenger seat with our contact, while his friend, who barely looked past his teens drove.
We reached his home and made preparations for bed, one enquiry on the score for the days match led to a treasure chest.
While flicking through the channels we came across the days highlights + 4th ODI from Indias tour of SA, 3rd ODI vs New Zealand from 2 months ago, a match from Indias tour of Pakistan in 2006.
Even at 4am after a long flight I couldn't turn of the telly and hit the sack
